Manic May

I both hate and love when I take a look at my blog and notice that I haven’t made a post in here in two weeks or so. it’s not that I don’t enjoy writing or anything like that, it just means that I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had the spare hour or so to sit down and actually write (Or that I haven’t thought of a clever enough thing to write about, which is partly the case this time). So, this means that you’re all stuck with another post describing what’s going on in my life. Escape now while you still can (I kid, of course. It really isn’t that long)!

Stress and Frustration

When things rain, it normally pours.  Such is the case last week, where initial site issues turned into me not having my primary email address for almost a week, and then not getting a response back from my hosting company about changing it.   This is why hosting your own website and email isn’t the best of ideas at times, especially when you rely on it that much.

So, I’m on a new webhosting provider now, and the move wasn’t as transparent as I wanted.  The theme I had before had kind of carried over, but it broke some things in the backend, and rather than spending time fiddling with it, I decided to just suck it up and switch to a new theme.  Part of it was because I found that it seemed everyone used a variation of the theme I had used on my blog, but mostly because I did want to try for something a little more minimalistic.  Feedback is, of course, always welcome.
