
I’ve used a lot of controllers over the years (Mostly Logitech ones, going from the original Rumblepad to the latest Dual Action that I actually still own), and the XBOX 360 one is hands-down the best controller I’ve used. Layout, responsiveness, and just overall feel of the controller is unmatched to anything else I’ve used. Still, nothing is perfect, and the controller did suffer from an absolutely terrible D-Pad, and the wireless controller I had experienced a bad problem where I actually need to disconnect the battery pack to turn off the controller. Minor problems when you look at it, but still small annoyances. So, when my controller started to have issues with my triggers, I needed to grab a controller. I had fully intended to ignore this controller if my local Wal-Mart didn’t have it, but considering that they both had it and for a price difference of only a few dollars, I figured I owed it to myself to give it a shot simply to see if they have improved anything, or whether the controller is all flash and no substance.
